Courtney Thompson DDS Dentist

Dr. Thompson spent most of her childhood in Cary, NC. She truly admires and appreciates all that the area has to offer. Dr. Thompson always enjoyed going to the dentist and through her connection with her childhood dentist, Dr. Thompson sparked her own interest in dentistry, which allowed her to explore the profession.

Dr. Thompson is passionate about history, and she pursued that interest and graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in History. She continued her journey at UNC and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2012. While at UNC, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society for exceptional scholarship and professional promise. She completed a one-year general practice residency with UNC Hospital, where she gained experience with more advanced dental procedures. Dr. Thompson is celebrating her 10-year anniversary with Raleigh Comprehensive and Cosmetic Dentistry, as she joined the practice in 2015.  

Dr. Thompson takes great pride and considers it a privilege to know her patients while treating and serving their oral needs, allowing patients to have confidence in their smile. She enjoys each unique day in the office with a variety of encounters, diagnoses, and treatments while finding fulfillment in patient progress in their dental journey.

Outside of the office, Dr. Thompson enjoys playing the cello and piano, volunteering and teaching at her church, creating handmade arts and crafts, while being happily married with three children.
